Spring 2019 Taiko Drumming
Out of our students’ interests in painting, engineering, and music, we focused on the art of Taiko drumming. For their project, students learned about the history of Taiko and Japanese drumming, created their own team logos and hachimaki headbands, built their own drums, wrote, practiced and performed their music pieces.
